3 Ways You Can Make Break Time Brighter
We're already a full week into September, and that only means that it's just going to get busier. With school starting, autumn brewing, and Thanksgiving and the holidays waiting around the corner, it's safe to say that life is going to be a little bit more hectic than usual, and it's important to remember to take breaks in the midst of chaos.
I love breaks because it's a time for rest and refreshment, not just physically, but mentally as well. And so today, I will be sharing with you 3 ways you can make your breaks brighter!
1. TAKE A BREATHER!
In other words, rest and unwind. Take a step back. Give yourself room to relax, to think, to regroup. Do whatever it is that relaxes you. This could be taking your dog for a walk, stepping out of the room or office for fresh air, or even just gulping a glass of water. This could be running to the coffee shop for your 3rd cup of joe because you really need it. This could be a 10-minute makeup tutorial of your favorite YouTuber. The sky is the limit, and only you know what's best for you! The point is, you have to get your mind off of work or school, so you can come back to it completely refreshed. What's your favorite way to unwind during school or office hours?
Work can get frustrating when your stomach is growling for food. I experience this all the time, and every time I ignore the cries of my belly, work just gets even harder to do! So the solution to these situations is to grab a snack.
My go-to snack lately have been the Outshine Simply Yogurt Bars in the flavor Strawberry. It is made with 100% real yogurt and it tastes absolutely delicious and refreshing! After having one (or two, because they're so addictingly good) of these yogurt bars, I always feel ready to tackle on the task at hand. My husband's favorite has been the Outshine Fruit Bar in Tangerine. These snacks will instantly brighten anyone's mood, and I encourage you to go pick up a box or two today! You can find Outshine goodies at Martin's Food, Stop & Shop, and Giant Foodstores! Download the coupons to save 75 cents on one box of Outshine!
3. GO NAP!
This is your last resort if the walks and the yogurt and fruit bars aren't enough. Go take a 20-minute nap! This is literally one of the best ways to refresh your mind, so you can outshine (pun intended) the task that is stressing you out. Find a spot, grab your favorite blanket or pillow, and doze off for a few minutes. I promise you, you will wake up feeling so refreshed and ready to take on the world!
Those are my tips and tricks on how you can make breaks brighter, and I hope that you found this post helpful!
Don't forget to check out Outshine and their amazing yogurt & fruit bars. I found them at my local Giant store in the frozen goods section. They're hard to miss.
